JETLAND JMRS-8CC6 Aluminium Modular U-Shaped Ramp System

The JETLAND JMRS-8CC6 Aluminium Modular U-Shaped Ramp System is a complete and flexible access solution combining one 8FT aluminium modular ramp, two 5FT × 5FT aluminium modular platforms and one 6FT aluminium modular ramp.

The system is configured in the following sequence:

8FT Ramp → 5FT × 5FT Platform → 5FT × 5FT Platform → 6FT Ramp

The U-shaped configuration allows the access route to make an approximately 180-degree change in direction, making it particularly suitable for locations where a longer straight ramp system cannot be accommodated due to limited available space, doorway position or site layout.

Designed for wheelchair, mobility scooter and pedestrian access, the system provides a strong and practical access solution for residential and commercial applications.

The two intermediate platforms create a spacious level turning area between the two ramp sections, allowing the access route to return in the opposite direction.

Manufactured from durable aluminium, the modular construction allows different ramp lengths, platform sizes and compatible components to be combined or reconfigured according to individual site requirements.

JETLAND Modular Ramp Systems are available with different ramp lengths and different platform sizes. Multiple ramp sections can be connected where additional ramp length is required. Different ramp lengths and platform sizes can be combined to create a suitable access system according to the specific vertical rise, doorway position, available space and site layout.

AUSTRALIAN ACCESSIBILITY RAMP GUIDE

For wheelchair and accessible ramp applications, a 1:14 maximum gradient is commonly used as a design reference under Australian accessibility requirements, including AS 1428.1.

As a general guide, a 1:14 gradient requires approximately 1.4 metres of ramp length for every 100mm of vertical rise.

Every site is different. The required ramp length, platform size, number of ramp sections and platforms, turning arrangement and overall system configuration will depend on factors such as access height, doorway position, building layout, available space and site conditions.
