The JETLAND JMRS-C8L/R Aluminium Modular Ramp System is a complete and flexible access solution combining one 8FT aluminium modular ramp with one 5FT × 5FT aluminium modular platform, configured for left or right side-entry access.

Designed for wheelchair, mobility scooter and pedestrian access, the system provides a strong and practical solution for residential and commercial applications where a straight-entry configuration may not be suitable.

The system can be configured for either left-side or right-side entry, depending on the doorway position, access direction and individual site requirements.

Manufactured from durable aluminium, the modular construction allows additional ramp sections, platforms and compatible components to be added or reconfigured to suit different access heights, building layouts, available spaces and site conditions.

JETLAND Modular Ramp Systems are available with different ramp lengths and different platform sizes. Multiple ramp sections can also be connected where additional ramp length is required. This allows ramp sections and platforms to be combined into a suitable configuration according to the specific access height, available space and site layout.

AUSTRALIAN ACCESSIBILITY RAMP GUIDE

For wheelchair and accessible ramp applications, a 1:14 maximum gradient is commonly used as a design reference under Australian accessibility requirements, including AS 1428.1.

As a general guide, a 1:14 gradient requires approximately 1.4 metres of ramp length for every 100mm of vertical rise.

Every site is different. The required ramp length, platform size, number of ramp sections and platforms, and overall system configuration will depend on factors such as access height, doorway position, access direction, building layout, available space and site conditions.
