The JETLAND JMRS-C8C8 Aluminium Modular L-Shaped Ramp System with Top Platform is a complete and flexible access solution combining two 8FT aluminium modular ramps with two 5FT × 5FT aluminium modular platforms.

The system is configured in the following sequence:

5FT × 5FT Platform → 8FT Ramp → 5FT × 5FT Platform → 8FT Ramp

Designed for wheelchair, mobility scooter and pedestrian access, this system provides a strong and practical solution for residential and commercial applications where a top landing platform and a change in direction are required due to doorway position, building layout, available space or site conditions.

The top platform provides a level access area at the upper end of the system, while the intermediate platform connects the two ramp sections and allows the access route to change direction. The system can be configured for left-hand or right-hand turning layouts according to individual site requirements.

Manufactured from durable aluminium, the modular construction allows additional ramp sections, platforms and compatible components to be added or reconfigured to suit different access heights, building layouts, available spaces and site conditions.

JETLAND Modular Ramp Systems are available with different ramp lengths and different platform sizes. Multiple ramp sections can be connected where additional ramp length is required. Different ramp lengths and platform sizes can be combined to create a suitable access system according to the specific vertical rise, doorway position, available space and site layout.

AUSTRALIAN ACCESSIBILITY RAMP GUIDE

For wheelchair and accessible ramp applications, a 1:14 maximum gradient is commonly used as a design reference under Australian accessibility requirements, including AS 1428.1.

As a general guide, a 1:14 gradient requires approximately 1.4 metres of ramp length for every 100mm of vertical rise.

Every site is different. The required ramp length, platform size, number of ramp sections and platforms, turning direction and overall system configuration will depend on factors such as access height, doorway position, building layout, available space and site conditions.
