The JETLAND JMRS-C8CC88-L/R Aluminium Modular Side-Entry U-Shaped Ramp System with Top Platform is a large and highly flexible modular access solution combining three 8FT aluminium modular ramps with three 5FT × 5FT aluminium modular platforms.

The system is configured in the following sequence:

5FT × 5FT Platform → 8FT Ramp → 5FT × 5FT Platform → 5FT × 5FT Platform → 8FT Ramp → 8FT Ramp

This U-shaped configuration allows the access route to change direction and continue over an extended distance while maintaining a compact overall footprint. It is particularly suitable for locations where the required ramp length cannot be accommodated in a single straight run.

The side-entry top platform allows the system to connect to an entrance or doorway from the side rather than directly from the end of the ramp system.

The system can be configured for either Left-Hand (L) or Right-Hand (R) side entry, depending on the position of the doorway, the direction of access and the individual site layout. The required left- or right-hand configuration should be confirmed before ordering.

The top platform provides a level transition area at the entrance, while the two central platforms create a spacious turning area between the ramp sections. The two connected 8FT ramp sections provide an extended ramp run where additional length is required.

Designed for wheelchair, mobility scooter and pedestrian access, the system provides a strong and practical access solution for residential and commercial applications.

Manufactured from durable aluminium, the modular construction allows ramp sections and platforms to be added, removed or reconfigured according to different access heights, available spaces, doorway positions and site layouts.

JETLAND Modular Ramp Systems are available with different ramp lengths and different platform sizes. Multiple ramp sections can be connected to create longer ramp runs where required. This modular design allows the overall system to be configured according to the specific vertical rise, available space and access requirements of each site.

Left-Hand / Right-Hand Configuration:
The L/R designation refers to the side-entry orientation of the top platform. The system can be supplied in either a left-hand or right-hand configuration to suit the doorway position and site layout. AUSTRALIAN ACCESSIBILITY RAMP GUIDE

For wheelchair and accessible ramp applications, a 1:14 maximum gradient is commonly used as a design reference under Australian accessibility requirements, including AS 1428.1.

As a general guide, a 1:14 gradient requires approximately 1.4 metres of ramp length for every 100mm of vertical rise.

Every site is different. The required ramp length, platform size, number of ramp sections and platforms, turning arrangement, entry orientation and overall system configuration will depend on factors such as access height, doorway position, building layout, available space and site conditions.
